After breakfast we got ready to meet some friends at a park down the road from our house. It is a neat little park that the kids love but there is nothing really built around it, so it feels like it is in the middle of a wind tunnel. We played there for a while and then everyone was getting cold so we all came back to the house so the kids could play here.
They played inside and warmed up a little bit and the went out in the backyard to play. My two were wore out the played hard from about 10:30 till 2:00. Of course Josiah had to give his token crying at nap time, but he was so tired that he didn't even get up once.
When the kids woke up we went back outside. They played in the back for a while then Josiah wanted to go see if any of the neighbors were out playing, so we went to the front yard. No one was out so we played with bubbles and chalk.
After supper we went back out so the kids could play with Trey. They had a blast, but I think our kids are a little confused on their sports.
Elaina loves to put the baseball helmet on backwards; she will wear that thing all day if I let her. And of course she had to play football since daddy and brother were.
Josiah also seems to be a little confused. He insisted that his goal for the football game was his basketball goal. He would get the football and run and slam dunk it in the goal.
We really enjoyed the great weather today. Tomorrow is suppose to be even warmer and we already have another park play date set up.
