Teeth!

Josiah has 2 teeth. Last Saturday Trey called me into the living room to feel Josiah's gum because he felt a bump. When we opened his mouth we noticed a little white tooth in his mouth. He bottom right tooth had started to come in and the left one was starting to break through. He had been sticking his tongue out like crazy and we thought that he had just discovered his tongue. But apparently he was teething. He had ran a little fever the Sunday but when we took him to the dr for his check up on Monday the dr couldn't find anything wrong & didn't feel anything that would suggest that Josiah had a tooth coming in. He has always loved to chew on cloth, but know he will chew on anything he can get to his mouth. He is sneaky about it too. He will pull you hand into his mouth & chomp down on it before you even know that he has you. Those little teeth are SHARP!

We have been very fortunate that he has not had a hard time with it. He had a little pain last Sunday night. We tried to give him a teething ring but he didn't have any interest in it at all. So I told Trey to put a wet wash cloth in the freezer so he could chew on it and make his gums feel better. Trey got one of Josiah's wash cloths and rolled it up before he put in the freezer. Well the rag was yellow so it kind of looked like dog toy. He chewed on for a little while little while & then lost interest in it.

Now our little guy has his 2 bottom teeth but he makes you work to see them. But I guess I would get tired of it too if my mom and dad kept putting their hands in my mouth to look at my teeth. Hopefully I can get a better picture of his little teeth soon.
