We celebrated our Christmas early this year so that we could travel and be with our families on Christmas. The kids woke up excited to see what Santa had brought them.
We had them walk in the living room together and then they ran to check out their gifts. Josiah was so excited about the operation game. He grabbed it and started dancing around saying that I always wanted this game.
Next we opened unwrapped the presents under the tree. Trey and I slacked off on the wrapping and didn't get it done till the last minute. The kids were so excited to see presents under the tree. We decided that we will have to do a better job next year at getting them wrapped as we soon as we get them so that the kids can enjoy seeing presents under the tree.
Emmett sat right next to his ride toy and opened a few gifts. He liked to pull at the paper but really seemed to be guarding his stuff.
Elaina could hardly wait to put on her dress up stuff, especially the shoes. She also was excited to get the Lorax (or Orax as she calls it).
The kids had a great Christmas and we had a fun day of playing with their gifts for a couple of days before we traveled to visit our families.
