Snow rounds 2 & 3

We got our 2nd and 3rd rounds of snow this past week.  Friday night it started snowing and by Saturday morning it was winter wonderland.  My parents had came up Thursday night for a visit and they got to see the kids play in the snow.
The kids begged papaw to sled down the drive way.

Emmett is our snow baby.  I think he would stay out until he turned into a popsicle if we would let him.  He loves sledding down the driveway.  He likes to lay down in the sled and after it comes to a stop he will continue laying there until some one comes and pulls him back up.  He also likes to have snow ball fights.  It is so funny because he will always ask you before he throws it at someone.  When I had him a snow ball he will look at me and ask "Daddy?" or "Siah?" or "Sissy?" before he throws it at one of them.

Elaina loves playing in it, but once she has had her fill she is done.  She didn't even go back outside after the first round of playing.  She decided that she would rather stay inside and work on her sticker book with her mamaw.
Trying to catch snow flakes in her mouth

Josiah runs around like a crazed monkey.  He is all over the place.  He loves the sleds and will run and jump on your back as you are sledding down the hill.  He rolls all over the yard and will run and slide across any ice patch that he can find.  The boy knows no fear.  He also loves to throw snow balls at everybody, but he doesn't ask first (or even let you know there is a snowball fight happening).

By Monday everything had thawed, but round 3 was on its way.  Tuesday night all the meteorologist in the area were saying how bad it was going to be by midday Wednesday and posting things like schools will be dismissing by this time on Wednesday, if they decide to go or maybe the schools will go ahead and cancel because they won't get a full day in and it won't count.  Well I guess they convinced them, because Wednesday morning school was canceled and it was just raining outside.  It was a great decision because by noon things were iced over and they were out again today (along with every other school in state, south and central Arkansas got hit with snow and ice late last night).

The kids got to enjoy another snow yesterday and this morning.  By noon today it had started to melt and was completely gone by early afternoon.  This is the kind of snow that I like, here a day or two and then goes away.
Never can get them to cooperate for a picture
If its not one then its the other!!!
