Our Crazy Life: Elaina is 2!!!!!

I can't believe my little girl turned 2 last Wednesday!! What all has she been up to lately?

Did not wake up happy on her birthday

Height--38.5 Inches Weight--36 lbs at 2 year check up
Fully potty trained for about a month and a half
wears a size 2t or 3t in clothing. I think we are going to have to find tights for all her 2t dresses we were given last year to keep them from being to short.
Loves to give things double names, paci is pas pas, duck is duck duck and your blanket is blank blank. You HAVE to have them at nap and bed time. You would take them everywhere if we let you. If we are in the van and you get tired you get mad if you don't have pas pas and blank blank
talking up a storm. You didn't really start talking a whole lot till a couple of months ago, but now you know what you want and make sure that we know what you want.

you are always telling me "Momma, come look" when you want something.
you told your daddy when he tried to get you to climb up something "I can't, see" you had already said that you told him that you couldn't do it

LOVES Josiah!! You want to do everything that he does. You get mad if you can't or we tell you no.

you always go looking for him if he is not up when you get up

Loves to play ring around the roses, and to swing, and wrestle with brother and daddy
Put herself in the 2 year old class at preschool coop in January, when the 2 year olds were going to class she walked in with them and sat down at the table. She did all the activities with them and has been going ever since
Loves Dora and Boots. When I asked you want you wanted for your birthday party you told me Boots. So I am going to attempt to make a books cake. When you say Dora it sounds more like Diego.
Anytime anyone pretends to be something you are a princess. Josiah calls preschool anything from high school to Power Ranger School, but Elaina always go to Princess School.
Obsessed with shoes. Always trying to put on shoes. She has figured out that Josiah's are the best bc she can put them on herself and still walk around. If she put on mine or Trey's she can't walk in them
Loves to be outside and play with other kids
Always wants to paint. Anytime we even think about doing a craft you want to paint. I have to give you tag board to paint on if using water colors or you will put a hole in regular paper and you get mad when it is time to stop painting. It doesn't matter if we have painted 10 minutes or 2 hours you still don't want to quit.
Favorite food is cheese. Great eater and will eat just about anything, but you can be in your room playing and if we open the fridge and take out the cheese you will come a running yelling "Cheese, Cheese" and throw a fit if we don't give you a piece.
Anytime anyone ask what do you want to eat you will say Ci Ci's. The other day you even blessed Cici's during your bedtime prayer.
Wants to eat cereal all the time for breakfast. Occasionally I can get you to eat pancakes or waffles (which use to be your favorite), but now it is cereal. I made you pancakes yesterday for your birthday and then waffles today and you wouldn't eat them you had to have cereal
You get so excited when you figure something out for yourself. I love hearing you discover things, because you yell Ahh Haa! It is so funny to hear because you are SOOO excited.
