Finally on day 7 (yep still trying to catch up on my blogging) of the snow we were able to make Elaina a snow man. The snow was so dry and powdery that we had to wait till it started melting a little to make any kind of ball to roll around.
Elaina was excited that we were able to make a snowman, until she saw the kids down the street playing outside. She then abandoned the whole process and went to play with the kids. Josiah didn't care anything about it because he was playing with the other kids.
The only opinion that she had on the whole thing was when Trey showed her the bottom section she told him that it needed to be bigger. So Trey carried the ball up the hill in our yard and rolled it down once more. By the time he got it back down the hill she was gone to play, leaving Trey and I to finish the snowman on our own.
After we finished the snowman Trey and I called the kids back over to get a couple of picture of them with it. While they were excited that we finally had a snowman they were more interested in playing with their friends.
What? Trey in a T shirt is this artificial snow and are y'all really in Springdale, not somewhere in Florida??? What a tough guy if it is cold out there, kids bundled up and Trey dressing for spring...
