Emmett's 8 months old

It is hard to believe that my baby boy is already 8 months old

• Wears a 12 month clothing and a size 3 diaper
• eating some food (if you wants too) Has eaten rice cereal and oatmeal made with baby milk (as Elaina calls it).  Peas and Sweet Potatoes both homemade and store bought.   You also have eaten baby peaches and LOVED them.  I was able to get you to finish the peas by alternating bites with the peaches.
•   sleeping well if you will ever go to bed.  You are turning into a little night owl.  you still wake up once or twice a night to be feed.  Here lately it has been around 4am and then sometimes again at 6 or you may sleep till 7:30-8:30 to get up again.  There have been several nights that you have slept straight through till 7:30-8:00 or later without ever waking up at night.
• Says Momma and Dadda.  You seem to say momma more though especially if you are mad or your don't want me to leave the room.  
• You get mad at your daddy when he comes home if he doesn't acknowledge you the minute he walks in.  And by acknowledge you I mean walk over and pick you up.  Just saying hi to you doesn't cut it.
• You have improved on going from sitting up to laying down.  You no longer face plant or whack your head.  You still need to work on your sitting back up.
• Starting to show signs that you might want to crawl.  You can reach out and almost get on your hands and knees from sitting.  You still have a foot that gets stuck up under you.  But you will start rocking to try and get it unstuck and to try to move forward.
• Will sort of army crawl/stretch to get what you want.  
• Rolls all over the floor to get where you want to go.
• Still likes your Jumperoo and will jump in it a lot
• New favorite game is to squeal AH at the table during supper.  You close your eyes each time you squeal.  You love it when your brother and sister play along with you and squeal back at you. 
• Super nosy.  You will not eat if there is a lot going on, and will not eat covered up.  Also will not go to bed if Josiah and Elaina are still up; once they go to bed you will eat and go to sleep much easier (many nights will fall asleep eating and go right on to bed it they are already in bed).
