Seeing Santa

This year the kids got to see Santa twice.  We got to go on the Santa Train with our Preschool Coop and then saw him on the Fayetteville Square.

On the Santa Train the kids got to talk to Santa but the booths did not allow us to get good pictures.  I think that having friends around helped Elaina not be afraid of Santa.  Although she told us last year that she wouldn't be afraid of him this year.

Josiah got to talk to Santa on the train, but he wanted his picture made with him.  Since Santa had moved to the next table, Josiah just went and stood by him.

Emmett was a completely different story.  He did not want to get near Santa.  Emmett started screaming when he sat down next to Elaina, and  I was holding him on the other side of the table.

We had a lot of fun on the train with our friends, and the kids got hot chocolate and cookies.  After the train ride we got a better chance to get a picture with Santa.  Emmett still didn't want any part of it and the big 2 were over having their picture made.

We also went to look at the lights on the square, we decided to let the kids see Santa again.  They allow you to take you own pictures.  Emmett wasn't happy about it at all, but every kid needs a crying picture with Santa.
I love the look on Elaina's face.
Emmett did love the lights though, so I think that he forgave us for making him sit in Santa's lap.

The kids also wrote (or drew) letters to Santa.
Josiah's & Emmett's

Josiah decided that Emmett wanted  wanted a stuffed animal dog (because he is always talking about dog dogs) and I have not idea where the circle and heart pillow came from (other than Elaina has a heart shaped one).  Josiah has wanted a Razor Spark scooter forever and just added the science stuff the beginning of December and no clue where the boomerang came from.

Elaina's

Hers included her go to items.  A Dora toy that she says she wants anytime some one asks her what she wants.  She doesn't really watch Dora anymore but she always asks for one.  This year she also a Doc McStuffins toy.
