The weather was nice and Josiah had a blast. He loved all the lights and decorations, but was about a inch too short for the kiddie rides; which upset Trey more than it did Josiah. We did take him into the fort where you can shoot all the balls.
Josiah had fun putting the balls into the little cones that sucked the balls up.
He had fun throwing the balls across the play area.
He had fun picking up the balls and putting them into the air guns that would shoot the ball across the fort.
Trey sat him in the basket that held all the balls and he started playing with all them. He did not want to get out of the basket when I tried to pick him up.
After playing in the ball pit we stopped to pose for a family photo next to one of the Christmas trees. This photo shows us all nice and sweet.
Then Josiah had to whack me in the face.
Then kiss me to make it all better.
Shortly after the photo op we got to see what we came for. The lighting of the Christmas tree. Josiah was in complete awe.
He was silent and just stared at the tree. His face was priceless and made the trip. I must admit that the tree is impressive
After the tree lighting we went and found a place to watch the parade. We were halfway down a hill and Josiah liked the light parade almost as much as the tree.He would watch one float all the way down the hill and the spin around and get ready for the next. Here are a few of his favorite thing from the parade.
We had an awesome trip and I think that Josiah really enjoyed see all the lights. I am glad that we were able to take him to see it. Next year he will be big enough to ride some of the rides.
