After we left Trey's parents we stoped by my parents on the way to my aunts for lunch. We went ahead and gave my mom her gift (a camera) so she could use it during the day. We helped her load up the food that she was taking and the we headed to my aunt and uncle's for lunch. We had a wonderful lunch with turkey, dressing, and a ton of sides. After lunch we realized that we left the gifts for my cousins at my parents house. Trey decided to take Josiah with him and run back to their house to get them. Josiah was so sleepy and we hoped that he would sleep in the truck. He did take a little nap to help recharge his little battery.
After they got back my aunts and uncles gave Josiah gifts. He sat on the couch and opened his gifts, but once again he wanted to play with the open with the open one instead of unwrapping the next gift.
We had a lot of fun visiting with our family. Josiah was the only little kid there so he was loving being the center of attention. Only one of his cousins was there and he is 12. The other cousins will be in town later this week, so we will have to go see all of them later, I just hope that the weather is nice so that they can play outside.
Josiah found the bead garland that was used for decoration and decided that it would make a great necklace. He had so much fun playing with the beads, but had a hard time walking with them. The living room has wood flooring so every time he stepped on them he would slip down. That did not stop him from playing with them though.
After we left my there we went back to my parents house. Josiah once again racked up. I left my camera at my aunt and uncle's house so I did not get any pictures at my parents. I will have to get some from my mom to add to the post.
We are so blessed to have such a great family to spend Christmas with. Even though we were all exhausted when we finally made it back to our house, it is nice that both of our families live close enough that we can spend Christmas with both sides.
