Building the treehouse

We got the kids a playset for Christmas.  We decided to go ahead and get the big one, so they would have years of fun on it.  The thing came in 4 HUGE boxes and the slide separate.  Every single board and to be put together, nothing came preassembled.  Trey even had to attach the logo plate to the beam.  It took Trey, my dad, and brother about 15 hours to put it together.  They worked on it a few hours one evening, then started early the next morning and worked all day, and finished up by working a few hours the next morning.
Just getting started.
A few of the boards
The hardware.
Structure starting to take shape.
The next morning Josiah had to come supervise.
The supervisor is in his football/construction helmet.
Making progress
Almost done and Josiah is already checking it out.
Pirate Josiah enjoying his finished tree house as he calls it
I think it is obvious that he likes it
Riding the glider
I owe a huge thank you to Trey, my dad, and brother for putting this together.  I think that yesterday is the 1st day that he had not played on it and that was because it was raining and cold.
